» Pole and stage specifications

We're pleased to announce that our competition will be the first of its kind to use 3 x 45mm freestanding poles built into a purpose built stage (ie: no podiums). The poles are built into a large stage area measuring 10m across. They are engineered by X-POLE & so will be spinning & static in one pole. The 45mm width is the perfect compromise between the standard 50mm poles & the skinner 38/42mm poles used by some schools/clubs. Poles are set 3m apart, with 2m on either send of the stage area.

Both end poles will be 45mm Titanium Gold, set to spinning, and the middle pole 45mm Chrome, set to static. With the exception of the Pure Pole division, which uses the middle, static pole only, should the Open Pairs competitors prefer a different arrangement of spinning/static, this can be accommodated. Pole work on static and spinning poles will be required within routines for Freestyle Women's, Freestyle Men's and Open Pairs divisions.
